How privacy, tracking and outbound links should be handled before the production launch.
Personal data
This pilot does not request accounts, payments, forms or personal data inside the site.
Server logs and analytics
A production version may use hosting logs and analytics to track visits, country, device, page performance and conversion paths. The final setup must be documented before launch.
Booking links
When a visitor clicks a booking button, they are sent to an external page that may receive referral information, campaign parameters, browser data and the data needed to complete the booking.
Cookies and local storage
The popup may use local storage to remember if the visitor closed it. Production may use cookies or storage for consent, analytics, preferences and attribution.
Affiliate disclosure
The site may earn a commission when a visitor books through an outbound link. The price shown by the booking provider should not change because of this.
User rights
In the public version, users should be able to request access, correction or deletion of any personal data controlled by the site owner. Booking data must be handled by the booking provider.
